According to the Munich copy, the author, who is essentially different from that of the previous lexicon, would be called Hasan ibn Hoseïn ʿImad el-Karahisari, and he would have dedicated his work to Sultan Bayezid II, son of Mohammed II, son of Mourad. II (886-918 AH = 1481-1512). The Karahisari dictionary is made up of three parts, the first of which contains the names arranged according to the last letter; the second, the verbs; the third, an abridgement of Persian grammar. There are fantastic errors in this book, the Avesta being indicated as the “Book” of the prophet Abraham; We find at the end of the volume various extracts and verses in Persian.. Coislin.. Half-bound, with the numeral of Louis-Philippe.
