Notes Fund consisting of a medal and more than 5,000 autographs, the first of which were collected by Labouchère during his trip to the United States in his twentieth year: the "Americana". Autograph manuscripts, engraved portraits, press cuttings and biographical notices are brought together in twenty thematic series bringing together sovereigns, politicians, soldiers, scientists, artists and men of letters from the 15th to the 19th century. Nantes and Protestant, he reserved a special place for reformers and local celebrities. But the interest of the pieces where Mozart rubs shoulders with Rancé, Madame de Sévigné or the German poet Klopstock is universal. The digitization of this set is not yet completed - we are in the process of digitizing. Note from Pierre-Antoine Labouchère "given by Horace Vernet in 1848".
