Copy of 1153 (A.H.). Content notice on the lower backplate: “Arabic in 4°. Manuscript. Grammar of the Arabic language composed by Gabriel Ibn Farhat of Aleppo Maronite and monk of Mount Lebanon. Written in the year 1153 A.H. Grammar. On fol. 2 v, the author indicates that his grammar is made for Christians. Beginning of the treatise on fol. 10v. Fol. 165r: end of text and colophon. Date of copy: Tuesday 27 ṣafar 1153 a.m. / 23 šahr ayyār (May) 1740.. Eugène Coquebert de Montbret.. Light brown oriental binding with decorations and mandorla on the upper cover.
