Narrative of the events of the years 681 to 689 h. / 1282-1290, until the death of Qalawun. Gap in two quires at the beginning of the 3rd ğuz' (f. 148). Incomplete from the end. First words: في هذه السنة وردت الأخبار من حلب المحروسة بأن الغيارة توغ Anonymous and undated copy.. Mark of possession of Aḥmad al-Ṭahāwī al-ʿAbbāsī (f. 1). Notice from Dom Berthereau, who put the leaves in order. The text is punctuated with golden rosettes and sometimes with golden dots circled in black (in the 2nd ğuz'). Frontispiece: 117 x 120 mm, title inscribed in clouds in reserve on a background of red hatching; headband with golden plant decoration including a mandorla medallion where al-ğuz' al-ṯānī appears in gold characters on a blue background with plant decoration in reserve; framed with a golden scroll, black fillets and a blue flowered fillet, marginal vignette (f. 1). European binding by Ottmann-Duplanil, 1854, red morocco, with the figure of Napoleon III.
