Frontispieces framed with two red lines where title and author's name are written in a downward-pointing triangle, resting at f. 1 on a banner containing a eulogy (f. 1, 107, 206). The colophons are treated in the same way (f. 104, 204v, 357). Cover binding comparable to Arab 1496, 1500, 1504, brown morocco, central plates in the shape of polylobed mandorlas measuring 55 x 40 mm, cold-stamped decoration of a bouquet with a crooked stem (cf. DEROCHE (F.), Les Manuscrits du Coran: du Maghreb à l'Insulinde. Paris, 1985, II, type Oai); rosettes at the tips of the mandorla and at the ends of the central axis marked by a cold-stamped fillet. Border of fillets and cold stamped s. Spandrels formed by three fillets and two rosettes. Same type of decoration on the flap. Border of nets on the part protecting the gutter, with three rosettes at the top and bottom and a strip of s..
