The author reigned in Tlemcen from 1359 to 1389. Inc. (f. 1v): الحمد لله الذي جعل نعمته على الخلق بما أللّفهم عليه من الحق شاملة سائفة (...) أما بعد فإنه لما كانت الأولاد قطع الأكباد وعماد الظهور Exp. (f. 123v): فإعلم فإعمد يا بني بوصيتي يوصل السعادة إليك وهو سبحانه الخليفة عليك فالتجا إليه واوكل في أحوالك عليه وهو جسبنا ونعم الوكيل ونعم المولى ونعم النصير ولا حولة عظيم The copyist reproduced the colophon dated 926 h. / 1519 of its original (f. 123v).. Signature on f. 123v. Label on the back: “Bensmaïne 30”. Anonymous typewritten notice stuck to the back cover, according to which the volume comes from the "Fonds de la Bibliothèque de Mouley Hassen Beghdadi". speckled with black and red, bordered by the same listel which also borders the three sides of the upper rectangle (f. 1v). F. 10v-12: poetic quotation where the hemistics are separated by green and red patterns or blue and green linesf. 122v-123: two double red nets and intercolumn in reserve. Framing a double red net. End of the text in triangle, bordered with a double red fillet.. Cover binding, red morocco, central plates in the shape of polylobed mandorlas and cloud decoration, with pendants, double border of cold-stamped fillets and S's, decorated paper lining.. (f. 123v): So know, and be baptized, my son, with my commandment, and you will be happy, and keep it and guide it, and God will deliver the causes of happiness to you, and He, Glory be to Him, is the Caliph over you, so turn to Him in all your affairs and entrust all your affairs to Him, and He is our equal, and He is the best disposer of affairs, and the best Master, and the best Helper, and there is no power nor strength except in God, the Most High, the Great. / 1519 de son original (f. 123v).
