Containing official documents, some of which are important and relate to details of Ottoman history, the first being the notification to the great personages of the empire of the advent in 1099 of the hegira (1687) of Sultan Soleiman III, a letter to the king of England, dated from the beginning of the month of Moharrem 1099 (around the 10 November 1687), a letter to the king of Hungary, in 1101, documents addressed to the sheriff of Mecca, to the khans of Crimea, Selim Guirei and Safa Guirei, the one which was addressed to Safa Guirei announcing the sending of a garment of honor, a long letter, written by the grand vizier, Mohammed Pasha, to the king of Persia; the Turkish translation of a memorandum containing a series of questions asked by the ambassador of the King of France (folio 120 recto); all these pieces are from 1099 and the first years of the 11th century AH. We read on the back of the volume the title انشا ديوان مرغوب , which has no authenticity, and an owner of this book wrongly wrote, on the front of the first leaf, that it is in the hand of Cardonne, to whom it belonged..
