(nos I to V) short notices (f. 1, 9, 15, 22) preceding each piece. The second part (No. VI) seems to have been added later to constitute a volume, because it is not mentioned in the table of f. 1 In f. 281 shows the circular stamp of a possessor; In the center we can see the name of Muḥammad. Another stamp was erased on f. 123 and a stamp was scratched on f. 124. All the pieces are anonymous copies, undated with the exception of No. III, completed (f. 14v) in Ẓū l-Ḥiǧǧa 933H. (end of August-September 1527). Nos. I and II, in Persian Nastaʿlīq of 14 lines per page, are by the same hand. No. III is in Nastaʿlīq of 17 lines, No. IV, in Nastaʿlīq in red ink, and No. V in Nastaʿlīq of 17 lines are in different Persian hands, as well as No. VI in Nastaʿlīq of 14 lines. Rubric titles (sometimes omitted in No. VI); advertisements. Written surfaces 90 × 160 mm (nos I-II), 80 × 160 (nos III), 100 × 155 (nos IV-V) and 105 × 160 (nos VI). Ms. of 220 × 160.. MīrʿAlī Šīr Navāʾī (see n° VI below). Other copies at the B.N.: Turkish 298, 327; Suppl. Turkish 317, 329, 962, 965, 985 and 1003. See the Catalog of Turkish Manuscripts.. At the bottom of f. 1, indication of a price, “17 pounds”. The ms. was acquired in 1708 in Constantinople by Paul Lucas (according to the notice established by Pétis de la Croix upon the arrival of the volume, cf. ms. N. a. fr. 801 f. 7, where it bears No. 1, it had cost 10 pounds). A Latin notice by Renaudot is glued to the upper backplate; a notice signed by Armain (n° 414) occupies f. head guard.. Oriental binding in black morocco of which the flap and the covering have disappeared, cold stamped with a central plate in polylobed mandorla (33 × 49 mm; NSh 4 type decoration), fleurons, spandrels and a fillet border. Red morocco linings.

Taşıyıcı Ortam/Materyal Papier oriental (plusieurs types ; le n° VI est sur un papier lissé à vergeures assez régulières). 362 feuillets, plus un f. 199 bis . F. 1-8, deux binions initiaux, puis un ternion (f. 9-14), un cahier irrégulier (15-21) et des ternions (22-118), à la suite desquels deux doubles feuilles ont été ajoutées. Du f. 123 au f. 355, suite de quaternions au premier desquels manquent 2 pages ; les f. 302-3 sont constitués d'une double feuille insérée, le f. 313 d'une simple feuille ; le dernier cahier est irrégulier. Le f. 21 est resté blanc.
