Copy executed in 1130 h. / 1717-1718 by Muḥammad Hāšim.. Text of the Koran copied in clouds on a golden background. Verses separated by golden circles enhanced with colored dots. Titles of the surahs in red in gilded cartridges on a blue background with polychrome plant decoration. Divisions of the text indicated in the margin by vignettes of various shapes (diamond, starry polygon, teardrop) combining gold and polychrome floral pattern bands on a blue or dark red background. Framing of two thin bands, gold and red, of black and green fillets, border of a red fillet and two black fillets (f. 243-244; on the other leaves, the framing has been restored). Frontispiece: double page with five lines of text, a lower band with a motif of plant arabesques on a gold background, two bands with cartouches containing the titles and the number of verses of the first two suras, and an upper part with black, blue, then gold dome decoration. Margins decorated with saz leaf arabesque motifs (f. 1v-2). Marginal comments in clouds on a gold background, in hexagonal cartridges with pendants.. Lacquered binding: three vertical bands decorated with rolled leaves, with central motif, pendants and spandrels with green bands, separated by a band with a gold motif on black from a frame of motifs with red bands on a black background, thin gold and green border. Black lacquered counterplats sanded with green, with central polylobed diamond, gold pendants and spandrels, gold and black border.
