Anonymous copy completed on the last day of ǧ umādā II 1197/1 June 1783 (f. 190v).. Comes from the Asselin de Cherville collection.. Cover binding, brown morocco, central plates in the shape of polylobed mandorlas, 80 x 60 mm, cloud decoration, cf. DEROCHE (F.), The Manuscripts of the Koran: from the Maghreb to Insulindia. Paris, 1985, II, type NA and pendants decorated with thistles on beige stamped paper. Groups of three small circles at the spandrels and at the ends of the two axes. Cold stamped fillet border. The flap is decorated with a pendant of the same type. Formed decoration made up of six small circles around a central circle on the part protecting the gutter. Backplates covered with comb paper. Colophon (f. 190v): This has ended, and the purpose of the pen’s journey since its journey and the climate of its passengers and the station of its men is Monday afternoon at the end of Jumada al-Thani of the months of the year one hundred and thousand and ninety-seven of the Prophet’s Hijra. The best prayers and the most sincere greetings are due on its companions. Cf. Ms. Arab 1545. Copy anonymity from the beginning of the month of Ramadan II 1197/1 and June 1783 (f. 190v).
