Comes from the Séguier-Coislin library, bequeathed to the abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. - Double frontispiece. 125 x 95 mm frame bordered with a blue flowered net. On the right, extended pointed medallion on the vertical axis containing the author's name in blue letters in golden clouds on a blue and gold background, with golden rosettes enhanced with red dots at the four corners. On the left, title banner including a cartouche with blue and gold decoration on a gold and bronze background. The title is written in blue letters in a golden cloud. Medallion with eight lobes including in its center a six-pointed star, then two concentric circles, with alternating blue and gold, and gold and bronze backgrounds (f. 1v-2). Colophon in a frame containing two bands with eulogies and a central circle where the date and the name of the copyist appear, delimited by double red lines. - Mark of possession in the name of Aḥmad ibn Ḥasan ibn Ḥusayn ibn Aḥmad ibn aṭ-Ṭulūnī al-Muʿammār al-Ḥanafī; pen essays (f. 1); reading marks of Aḥmad al-Muʿṭī al-Mālikī (f. 29v, 33v); other reading mark (f. 61v); mark in the name of aʿbān (f. 62); accounts (f. 62v); colophon written in red in a medallion formed of red lines in a frame of two red lines also containing two bands where eulogies appear. - Notice by Silvestre de Sacy.. Frontispiece. Half-bound with Louis-Philippe numeral, brown calfskin spine.
