See the typewritten notices of Georges Vajda for the Arabic manuscripts 471 to 812. Text with vocalization and orthoepic signs. Golden dots (ff° 1 v° and 2 r°) then red dots separate the verses. The word ʿ ašr, rubricated, indicates in the margin the groups of ten verses. At the head of each surah is its title; most often the number of verses is indicated. The beginning of the text is placed in a frame defined by a golden net and surmounted by a pointed arch pediment with a golden arabesque, but the cartouche intended to receive the title of the S. VI has not been filled in (f° 1 v°). The text is inscribed in a golden linear frame (f° 2 r°) then red. The indications of divisions in ḥizb and ğuz ʾ were written in the margin in red ink. Western paper. 74 fol. (plus 22 who remained white). 199 × 130mm. 9 lines per page (except f° 1 v°: 5 l.). Black ink. Reglure to the misṭara. Writing surface: 115 × 75 mm. Advertisements. Quinions. Oriental flap binding; on both boards, central plate in the shape of a polylobed mandorla (57 × 40 mm; cf. OSv, fig. 3) and framing of two triple cold-stamped fillets. On the cover the framing of the plates reappears, accompanied by an axial fleuron (to be compared to the “thistle” types), cold stamped.. Türkiye. Comes from the Thévenot library. The anonymous notice in French is due to the same hand as the titles of the surahs added in the margin with a reference to Du Ryer's edition. Notice in Latin by Renaudot, completed by J. Ascari.
