L'identification du texte a été effectuée par les chercheurs de l'IMHM en comparant le manuscrit de Paris avec Parme 610 ainsi que Munich 243. Il semblerait que le début du texte soit dans la copie conservée à la bibliothèque de l'Escorial sous la cote G-III-10 n°2.
