Al-ʿUqbānī commented in this text on the book of Abū al-Qāsim Aḥmad Ibn Muḥammad Ibn Ḫalaf al-Ḥawfī al-Išbīlī on inheritance. This anonymous and undated copy was made from several originals, including the autograph copy of the author, copies corrected and authorized by him at the beginning and at the end, a copy written by ʿAlī Ibn Muḥammad al-Qurašī al-Qalaṣādī, on 4 rağab 844 h / November 14, 1440 (f. 144b ). There is a biography of al-Ḥūfī in f.1a. Incipit (f.1b): يتعـ .... المستحق وبالطريق الموصل إلى معرفة تلك النسب، فقوله العلم جنس Explicit (f. 144b): عليهما جزا بعد جزا ثلاثا مثلان للأخت ومثل للأجنبي بينهما على ثلاثة ويقطع الدور قد مضى مثل هذا في ... على مسئلة دين الإجنبي والحمد لله رب العلمين وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم تسليما. Mark of possession of ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī al-Qurašī al-Andalusī al-Bastī. Half-bound, leather spine, boards stamped with a central plate in the shape of a mandorla in a rectangular frame with gilded floral motifs at the corners, lining of the paper boards with stretchers and chain threads. Al-Uqbānī commented on this text in the book of Abū al-Qāsim Aḥmad Ibn Muḥammad Ibn Ḫalaf al-Ḥawfī al-Išbīlī on the book. This anonymous copy and other original copies of more origins, don't use the autograph copy, rectified copies and auto-prints by someone at the beginning and at the end, a copy written by Al-Ibn Muḥammad al-Qurašī al-Qalaṣādī, the 4th of Ramadan 844 h / 14 November 1440 (f. 144b). This is a biography of al-Ḥūfī au f.1a. Incipit (f. 1b) Three times, two for the sister and one for the foreigner, so let him divide between them, starting by three, and cut off the cycle. Such has passed in...on the issue of the foreigner’s religion. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions.
