Certificate of reading of Ḥusayn ibn […] (the rest of the name has been deleted, it could be "Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd al-Musallim ibn ʿAtīq") during sessions which ended on Thursday 25 šawwāl 574 h. / December 27, 1179. Ğaʿfar ibn Aḥmad ibn Ğaʿfar al-Laḫmī collated this manuscript with its copy during sessions, the last of which took place on 9 ḏū al-qa'āda 607 h. / April 24, 1211 in Mecca, in front of the Kaaba, in the presence of Abū al-Qāsim ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī al-Ṭāhir ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, mark transcribed by Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd al-Musallim ibn ʿAtīq ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Iskandarānī on 17 ḏū al-qaʿada 607 h./May 2, 1211; other mark erased (f. 1). Certificate of reading before the šayḫ Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Dā'im ibn ʿUmar ibn Ḥusayn al-Kinānī al-ʿAsqalānī, in the presence of Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Ġanī ibn ʿAbd al-Razzāq […] al-Mahdawī, Abū al-Faḍl Yūsuf ibn al-šayḫ Abī al-Qāsim ibn al […] al-Iskandarānī, ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq ibn Farrāḥ ibn Manṣūr al-Qarawī, Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad al-Safāqīnī (?). Have heard partially: Abū Fāris ʿArabī ibn Yāsīn al-Hawārī, imām al-mālikiyya bi-al-Ḥaram al-Šarīf and ʿAbd al-Ḥaqq ibn ʿImād ibn Muḥammad al-Miknāsī, in Mecca in front of the Kaaba during of sessions, the last of which took place on Thursday 25 šawwāl 574 h. / December 27, 1179. The certificate was transcribed by Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd al-Musallim ibn ʿAtīq ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Iskandarānī (f. 220v). Marks of collation by reading before the šayḫ ʿAbd al-Dā'im are present throughout the volume. . Quinions numbered in full with mention of the volume number and the title of the work, from the 2nd to the 8th, then from the 11th to the 22nd. The number of the notebook is repeated in oriental Arabic numerals in the first half of the notebook until the 8th with the mention ح ٦ for the volume number and the title. Oriental foliation added. The middles of the notebooks are marked by black dashes throughout the volume. Title on f. 1. In the colophon, the title is Al-ṣiḥāḥ fī al-luġa (f. 220v). The work is also titled Tāğ al-luġa wa-ṣiḥāḥ al-ʿarabiyya (GAL, GAS). Copy completed at the end of rağab 574 h. / January 11, 1179 by Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAbd al-Ġanī ibn Faḫḫār in Mecca.
