Title added in pencil in the margin of f. 1v. The work is also titled Maḥağğat al-qurab bi-maḥabbat al-ʿArab (GAL). It was composed in 1389. On the back of the flyleaf, the title is translated The Book of Proximity in the Love of the Arabs. (...) بعد فقد أوجب الله عز على الخلق حب العرب ونصخهم وحرّم عليهم ببعضهم Exp. (f. 14v): وفي هذا القدر كفاية وهو آخر ما تيسّر جمعه في هذا المعنى والله أعلم بالصواب وإليه المرجع والماب ولا خول ولا قوة إلا بالله العالي العظيم Anonymous and undated copy. Two notices in Latin on the flyleaf. Mark of possession of the Saadian sovereign: Aḥmad al-Manṣūr Amīr al-mu'minīn ibn Amīr al-mu'minīn Muḥammad al-Šayḫ ibn Amīr al-Mu'minīn Muḥammad al-Qā'im al-šarīf al-Ḥasanī (f. 1).. Framing bordered with a golden net. Sarlowh (f.1v.): title in a polylobed rectangular cartouche with gilded plant decoration. The chapters are numbered in gold letters in banners. Transliteration standard: ISO 233-2:1993, Information and documentation -- Transliteration of Arabic characters into Latin characters -- Part 2: Arabic language (the character ¨t is not used).

It comes with crayon in the marge of f. 1v. The love is initulé également Maḥağğat al-Qurab bi-maḥabbat al-ʿArab (GAL). It was written in 1389. On the verge of the page, the title is the same as the receipt of the reward in the Arab world. Inc. (f. 1v): Praise be to God who favored the Arabs by sending among them the Master of Mankind, our Prophet (...) After God Almighty has made it obligatory for creation to love the Arabs and honor them, and has forbidden them to do so. Exp. (f. 14v): This amount is sufficient, and it is the last thing that is easy to collect in this meaning, and God knows best what is correct, and to Him is the return and the return. There is no authority nor power except in God the Most High, the Great.
