These are the first four books and a considerable part of the fifth of Galen's great work, entitled De Methodo curandi. On fol. 138, in the body of the text itself, we read a note from Ḥonaïn, indicating a variant of the Greek manuscripts that he had before his eyes. The last leaves of the ms. are missing, and there is a gap of one or two leaves between the folios currently rated 1 and 2.
