This example, which was written in 833 AD (1430 AD) for the bibliothèque of a princess of Egypt, filled with Al-Mâlik al-Manṣoûr and petite-filled with Al-Mâlik al-Ẓâhir (Tchaqmaq), Sultan mamlouc, commence ainsi: Praise be to God who made sleep a rest for the bodies and then quenched their souls when they fell asleep.
