Comprising: a preliminary part, formed of a kaside in honor of the Prophet, the beginning of which is borrowed from a form of Ğami, takhmis of ghazels of Fasih, Nabi, Nakhifi, Nedim, Rashid, Sami, Tsabit, Vahbi, after which come the ghazels, arranged in the alphabetical order of their rhymes (folio 18 verso), takhmis (folio 69 recto), quatrains (folio 72 verso), moukattaʿat (folio 72 verso), moufradat (folio 73 recto), enigmas (folio 75 recto). Luxury manuscript, decorated with two sarlohs. Abou Bekr Efendi, son of ʿAli Efendi, nicknamed Ratib, following his employment at the Chancellery, died in the year 1214 AH (1799), after having fulfilled several public functions in the administration of the Ottoman Empire. Turkish binding, in stamped and gilded red leather.
