The author says he used earlier textbooks; he does not indicate the time at which he worked; the Menâhiğ el-insha is divided (folio 2 recto) into three chapters, dealing respectively with the technique of this art, the formulas تعريفات, the models of letters تركيبات; the dates of the years 854 (1450) [folio 59 recto] and 884 (1479-1480) [folios 57 verso, 61 recto, 62 verso] can be read in parts of the third part, from which it follows that this manuscript was executed for the author of the work. Turkish binding, in soft gilded leather.
