Turkish Neskhi, 17th century; the [el-] Hilyet el-sherife was written, on sheets of pink paper, by a scribe, named Mohammed Imamzade; the third booklet was copied in the year 1152 AH (1739), by a certain Mohammed Pasha Kurdǧebe.. Relating to the history of Mohammed; a takhmis, in Arabic, from the el-kasidet el-Borda, by sheikh Bousiri, without title or author's name (folio 2 verso); the حلية الشر يفة, treatise in mesnevis verse, in which a poet, named Mohammed Beg Khaghani, or Khaghani Ilias Pachazade (1015 AH = 1606-1607), described at length the physical characteristics of the person of the Prophet, according to the authority of an Arabic pamphlet, entitled الحلية النبویّة, whose author is undoubtedly Sheikh Sadr ed-Din, who is cited in the introduction. This pamphlet, which was completed in the year 1007 AH (1598-1599), as its last verse indicates, clearly imitates Nizami's technique (folio 22 verso). It is followed by the account, in Mesnevis verse, of the battle of Bedr, followed by the names of the Muslims who were killed there (folio 43 verso).. Half-bound.
