Copy executed by Muḥammad ibn ʿAlāʾ al-Dīn al-Burullusī and completed in the last ten of the month of ṣafar 997/January 1589 for the qadi Badr al-Dīn al-Qarāfī al-Mālikī (descendant of a character of the same name who died in 912 h/1506-07, cf. KS, I 13?) (f. 210).. Comes from the Séguier-Coislin library, bequeathed to the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. - Mark of possession of Muḥammad Badr al-Dīn al-Qarāfī al-Mālikī dated 995 h/1586-87 (two years before the end of the copy). Cover binding, brown morocco, central plates in the shape of stamped and gilded polylobed mandorlas, 52 x 36 mm, bouquet decoration, bordered with a golden fleuron fillet. Central axis marked with a stamped and gilded net. Border of stamped and gilded fillets. Triangle spandrels formed of two stamped fillets, one of which is gold. On the flap, medallion with floral decoration. Part protecting the gutter lined with a golden net and a stamped net.
