Reports of the first 20 sessions (from November 3 to December 30, 1800 / year VIII of the Republican calendar) of the Divan of Cairo, an assembly of Egyptian notables set up by General Menou on the model of that which had been created by Bonaparte in 1798.. Title inscribed in a trapezoid, in the upper part of a compartmentalized rectangle, framed by a yellow band and black fillets (f. 1). Sarlawh composed of a yellow band surmounted by a dome with orange plant decoration, three lanceolates (f. 1v). The f. 1v-2 are framed by a yellow band, black lines and an orange line. Half-bound in brown leather and silver silhouetted paper. Le manuscrit Arabe 2455 contient les comptes-rendus des 11 dernières séances qui se sont déroulées en juin et juillet 1801. Les deux volumes présentent des points communs, mais ne sont pas l’œuvre du même copiste. La présentation des séances et des contenus de l’ordre du jour, ainsi que la mise en page, sont identiques mais ce manuscrit présente seul une ornementation au premier feuillet. La demi-reliure a été faite en Egypte.
