Containing: (folio 2 recto) a series of documents of all kinds, concerning the affairs of the Dutch established in the Turkish empire, around the year 1615, including a letter from the grand vizier Khalil Pasha to the beylerbey of Aleppo, an imperial rescript, dated the fifteenth day of the month of Shaʿban 1027 (August 7 1618), addressed on these questions to the beylerbeys of Anatolia and Karaman, at the request of the Dutch ambassador; a berat, addressed to the Dutch consul of Smyrna, in the month of Reǧeb 1026 (July 1617); imperial rescripts relating to these same affairs, addressed to the beylerbeys and defterdars of Cyprus, in the month of Ǧoumada second 1027 (May 26-June 23, 1618), in Reǧeb 1027 (June 24-July 23, 1618), in Shaʿban 1027 (August 1618); another, dated Shaʿban 1027 (August 1618), addressed to the kadis of Gallipoli, Kilid el-bahr and Soultaniyya; an imperial rescript, addressed to the Dutch ambassador, Lamberto Verhair لانبرتو فرهاری, probably an Italian, Lamberto Ferrari, in the service of Holland, concerning his trip to Bude and his return to Holland, dated Ǧoumada first 1021 (July 1612); a letter from the Dutch ambassador to the grand vizier Khalil Pasha, with this note “Littera mia al Challil Bassa il visyr in Adrianopoli”, which shows that this collection is composed of minutes and copies of documents which were part of the archives of the Dutch ambassador, of which we find letters to the Padishah, to the great officers of the Crown, to the kizlar agha, etc. ; the capitulations عهد نامۀ همایون concluded between Sultan Ahmed I and Henry IV, King of France (folio 49 recto), dated from the last decade of the month of Zilhiǧǧa of the year 1015 AH (April 18-27, 1607); the copy of this diplomatic instrument only occupies the front of the pages; the capitulations between the Porte and the King of England (folio 57 recto); this treaty, written in the form of a letter, addressed to King James I ياقوب, by Sultan Ahmed I, who does not indicate his name, but only that of his father, Sultan Mohammed IIIبابام سلطان محمد خان, is the renewal of the capitulations concluded between the king of England and Sultan Mourad III, whom Sultan Ahmed I named his grandfather ددم سلطان مراد خان; a collection (folio 60 verso) similar to that of the first forty-eight leaves, constituted by the same person, containing a correspondence between the States General of Holland, Maurice de Nassau, and the Sublime Porte, the capitulations between Sultan Ahmed I and the States General, dated Ǧoumada I 1021 (July 1612), the correspondence of the Dutch ambassador with the Turkish government, and all kinds of documents addressed by the Ottoman Court to its officers concerning the affairs of Holland, or concerning the subjects of this country, during the years 1021, 1022, 1026, 1028 AH (1612-1614, 1617-1619)..
