Sample Text The author, who does not name himself, and who is not Loutfi, as Armain believed, following an erroneous interpretation of a verse in the preface, indicates the title on folio 3 verso, and says, in his preface, that he composed this specific in Constantinople, in 915 AH (1509). It is divided into thirty-five very short chapters, the titles of which are written in red ink. The copyist of Rauzet el-Islam added to the poem an appendix in the same meter, in which he indicates as the date of the copy the month of Reǧeb 990 (August 1582), in an unusual form.
