Second part of the treatise by Abou ʾl-ʿIzz Ismâʿîl al-Djazarî, on the use of water to give movement to automatons, to make musical sounds from guts, etc. , and on how to bring out several liquors from the same vase, etc. There are quite a large number of plans and colored figures, which represent the interior construction of these marvelous automatons and vases. This work was composed in 602 A.H. (1206 A.D.). Ms. dated 890 A.H. (1485 A.D.).
