On the frontispiece, the work is attributed to Abū Zakariyāʾ Yaḥyā ibn Abī Bakr al-ʿĀmirī, m. 893 h/1488. He probably summarized the work. Résumé of Mirʾāt al-ǧanān of ʿAbdullah ibn Asʿad al-Yāfiʿī ended at 823 h/1420 Title au f. 1. On the front line, the ouvrage is attribué to Abū Zakariyāʾ Yaḥyā ibn Abī Bakr al-ʿĀmirī, m. 893 h/1488. It is a probable result. Inc: Praise be to God, the King, the Judge, the overturner of times (...) And then this is a summary of what was summarized by (...) Al-Hussein bin Abdul Rahman Al-Ahdal from the history of the Imam (...) Abdullah bin Asaad Al-Yafi’i Exp. et colophon (f. 221v): And others who are innumerable in number (...) and We have been provided with great benefit in all of them, and here the history of the great Sheikh ended (...) He said, and there was a brief gap from it in the year eight hundred and twenty-three, and praise be to God (...) The book was completed, with the praise and help of God Almighty, on the day of Thursday of the good month of Safar, the second month of the year 1076, and that was in the drawing of our master, the jurist, the virtuous writer, and the most knowledgeable, Abi Imran. The pillar of Islam is Musa bin Muhammad bin Yahya Al-Manski, may God prolong his life (...) and that was at the hands of the one who was in need of God Almighty, Ahmed bin Omar Al-Harbi...
