Obra de gramática de Abū ʼl-Q. ʽAr. b Isḥāq az-Zaggāgī (m. 337/949), titulada K. al-gumal, (GAL, S. I, 170).. Incipit: [Bismillah and Salat] Abu al-Qasim Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq al-Zajjaji al-Nahwi, may God have mercy on him, said: Speech consists of three words: a noun, a verb, and a letter that comes with a meaning. The noun cannot be a subject, an object, or an accusative. Explicit: The poet said, but it did not precede the Qaisi.
