Notes
A good, complete copy. The mouse has infested its edges, but its text is still intact and clear. It is after an interview with the original from which it was copied, as appears in the corrections and appendices to the interview recorded in its footnotes in the copyist’s own hand. The text was written in it in pale brown watery tan ink (folio 1b, 3b, 4a) and in dark watery brown tan ink (folio 2a_b, 3a_b and a section of a sheet of paper). 3b) In a handwriting different from Al-Asafi’s clear, beautiful handwriting, on an English-made, rough, dark-coloured pen in which only parallel lines appear. On the title page, he wrote the following expression in pencil: “Muhammad bin Hamad Al-Asafi lives, ya’esh, ya’esh, ya’esh 7/2/69” and it appears that it was written by one of his sons.
