The copyist indicated at the end of the copy that he copied it from a copy in the handwriting of Muhibb al-Din al-Dimashqi al-Khatib, dated 1319 AH. It is preserved in the Egyptian House of Books under No. 84, Hanbali Jurisprudence, and is attached to the last question and answer about the endowment.

Metin Sonu (Explicit)	... قال في الروضة لو كتب شاهدان إلى شاهدين من بلد المكتوب إليه بإقامة الشهادة عنده عنهما لم يجز لأن الشاهد إنما يصح أن يشهد على غيره إذا سمع منه لفظ الشاهدة وقال أشهد علي فأما أن يشهد عليه بخطه فلا لأن الخطوط يدخل عليها العلل فإن قام بخط كل واحد من الشاهدين شاهدان ساغ له الحكم به انتهى.
