Copied by: Mustafa bin Muhammad al-Assal al-Shafi’i End of the manuscript: His saying, and the most correct thing is that the authorization By acknowledgment, it is not valid, as the author’s statement except with his permission is weak, so if he said to someone else, “I appointed you.. and it is not based on the more correct thing if he said, “I appointed you,” to acknowledge to so-and-so, to acknowledge to so-and-so a thousand that he owes to me, because he did not mention it on my behalf while mentioning it on me, and God knows best what is correct, and to Him is the reference and the return.. The last part ends (Chapter on the rulings on agency). I wrote the chapter titles and the word “saying” in red ink. Corrected version. The copyist differed between his proof of the date of copying in letters and numbers, so he wrote in letters: one thousand two hundred and ninety-nine, and wrote in numbers: 1279, and the correct thing in numbers is because he wrote the second part that follows in the year 1280.
