Notes	An old copy, including the first part of the explanation, the last leaf of which was lost and replaced with a new one, and the worn out first leaves were restored by pasting paper strips. On the title sheet, a possession that was erased was named Abdul Aziz bin Ahmed, then he assigned the copy to himself, Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Sulaym, and then to his children, as they did not reproduce, dated Ramadan 1253 AH. The title sheet also contained a brief translation of the author, copied from the footer. Al-Sakhawi on the Countries of Islam by Al-Dhahabi. This paper is pasted onto the original title paper, perhaps to strengthen it. The volume has cut off the edges of the leaves, and how much knowledge has gone into cutting the edges!! In writing, black ink was used for the explanation and red ink for the text.
