The copy was severely affected by humidity and the elements of time, so its edges were frayed and some of its sides were touched by fire, in addition to the disintegration of some of its pages. The lines are inconsistent. Some words were dropped from the copyist, as in Folio 49a and Folio 91a. The first six lines are normal. As for the rest of the page, the copyist began copying it from the side opposite the beginning of the page, recording 12 lines. The last line of both of them met, but in the opposite direction. He wrote the text in shiny black tan ink and wrote it. Many words and sentences are written in red ink, in which some side headings were also recorded. The text was written on thick, dark-brown, Oriental paper that shows impurities of workmanship. The title page bears a text indicating care for the manuscript due to its importance, but we see that it is not successful. The phrase says (We ask you to keep it from the people and let no one see it. You read it and transfer it or some of it because it contains benefits that are not in the book Tashil al-Munafi’ and Treasures of Health, and they are all easy and strange). It seems that one of the readers looked at the manuscript and wrote at the end. (Here I have summarized what is contained in a summary in the book of travel, Jumada Thani, 13 year 1319) and the title page contains (The Book of Wisdom and Medicine, written by Ibn Fadl Al-Yamani, based on the book called Zad Al-Musafir fi Medicine of the Small and the Great)

(هذا الكتاب في الطب والحكمة قد ألفه الشيخ العارف بالله الفقيه النحوي الشيخ عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن فضل اليمني ـ رحمه الله ـ وأسكنه فسيح جنته وقد جعل كتابه على خمسة أقسام وجعل لكل قسم فصول وأبواب وها نحن نشرع في بيان ذلك وتفصيله إن شاء الله تعالى وبالله التوفيق فنقول قال الشيخ رحمه الله تعالى القسم الأول في أشياء من علم الطبيعة والأمر بالتداوي ، القسم الثاني في تفسير الحبوب وطبائع الأغذية والأدوية ومنافعها ، القسم الثالث مما يصلح للبدن في حال الصحت ومن أحاديث نبوية مما يوافق الطب وأشياء من وصايا الحكما ، القسم الرابع في علاج العلل الخاصة لكل عضو مخصوص من أعضاء الجسد ، القسم الخامس في علاج الأمراض، القسم الأول وفصوله وأقسامه فصل في الأخلاط الأربعة..)
