Notes	Nafisa Shamiya Al-Najjar’s copy is complete, and is identical to the original from which it was copied, as appears from the corrections of the interview mentioned in the footnotes. However, one of the foolish people intentionally created most of the evidence of possession or endowment, and he erased it, crumpled it, or cut it off and distorted a number of its papers, and nothing remained to indicate its endowment except a faint text in the footnote of paper 1b that reads: ((An endowment for God Almighty for the hospice [...] in the Al-Ahmadi Mosque [...] and two hundred))) The text was written in black, tangy, dark viscous ink, which had turned to dark brown due to humidity in the atmosphere and oxidation. The copyist used red ink to write the headings of paragraphs, chapters, and so on, on a Levantine-made ink made of cotton and the remains of flax stalks, devoid of any watermark. Its margins are heavy with comments and restrictions, many of which were included in the volume, and at the beginning appears what was stated in the book Kashf al-Zunun about the book and its author, and in The first one also shows a restriction on ownership in the name of Abd al-Jawad al-Kayyali, and at the end of it another ownership in the name of Ibrahim bin Ahmed al-Dhani al-Khatib in Tripoli.
