The copy is a small piece of the book: it begins with the last translation of Abd al-Malik ibn Muhammad ibn Shamakh, and ends with the beginning of the translation of Muhammad ibn Ubadah, known as Ibn al-Qazzaz, which is a corresponding and corrected copy. The text was written in black ink, and the earth and moisture damaged the papers, leading to some words being blurred. There is a summary of al-Dhakhira with the same name by Ibn Mamati (who died in the year 606 AH / 1209 AD) as in Al-Alam 1/302. Perhaps it is this or by Muhammad bin Makram bin Ali Al-Ansari, Abu Al-Fadl Jamal Al-Din Ibn Manzur, d. 711 AH. / 1311 AD. See Kashf al-Zunun 1/825 Gift of the Knowers 1/525 Al-A`lam 7/108
