Notes
24.3 x 17.5 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who taught man what he did not know and made known to whomever he wished of his hidden secret. As for what follows, the poor man says to God Almighty Muhammad ibn Hubballah ibn al-Fadil. This is an explanation I put on the poem of Sheikh Sidi Muhammad ibn Said al-Tunisi in Al-Mkhums Al-Khali Al-Wasat. It was mentioned at the beginning of the copy when naming the author that he is a Tunisian-Moroccan, but the sources that mentioned his name identical to the manuscript indicate that he is a scholar. Chinguetti, Mauritania. End of the manuscript: This is the last thing we intended to write on the poem of Sheikh Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Tunisi, may God Almighty have mercy on him. Praise be to God alone, and may God’s prayers and peace be upon the one after whom there is no prophet, our master Muhammad, and his family and companions.
