A copy missing from the middle and the other, good, written in black ink and the text annotated with red ink, with traces of moisture, some edges eroded, fresh binding, and on the title page appears a statement that this copy is missing from the middle and the other by an amount of two or three chairs at most, but from the indexing it became clear to us that this copy consists of four parts that were gathered and bound together in the wrong way and these parts are: from (1a - 88b) is the indexed part of the manuscript. Al-I'tisam with Al-Isam, then (89a - 97b) a footnote or explanation of theology or the principles of jurisprudence, then (98a - 117b) a part that follows Al-I'tisam, so we took the aforementioned ending from folio 117b, then (118a - 137b) part of a footnote or an explanation of grammar, then (138a - 143a) the last part with a fragment of the text from a book by the author mentioned in it, which is Abdullah bin Hijazi bin Ibrahim Al-Sharqawi. Al-Shafi’i Al-Khalouti, T. 1227 AH. He was the sheikh of the Al-Azhar Mosque, see Mu’jam al-Mu’tali’ 2/234, and the aforementioned copyist was Abd al-Muhsin al-Safouri al-Shafi’i al-Ash’ari, who copied it in 1266 AH.
