Notes The preamble was decorated with a floral and geometric decoration, gilded and colored. It was a simple decoration, but its colors had faded. This decoration was repeated at Surat Al-Isra and at the end of the Qur’an. The inside of the Qur’an also contains four decorative panels, including the top half of the page, at the beginning of Surat Al-Ma’idah, Yunus, Al-Saffat, and Q. As for the names of the surahs, they were written in red ink on a gilded background, and the rest of the leaves are braided in blue, red, and gold. Perhaps the binding is the most important feature of this copy, as colored and cut leather was used to create a beautiful decorative composition.
