A recent letter, from which a number of pages fell between folio 2 and folio 3, was written by Al-Busnawi when the Ottoman Sultan Murad ordered in the year 1001 AH to renew the shrine of Ibrahim, peace be upon him, in the Holy Mosque in Mecca after a flood that occurred there. The text was generally written in black, watery, tangy ink, and the copyist used red ink to write the titles of the purposes, the chapters, the chapters of poverty, and so on, on a brown, satin European mug in which the parallel lines and the watermark appear. The distinguished commercial book [for three consecutive crescent moons], in some of its footnotes, we say medical prescriptions and benefits from medical books such as the book Al-Rahma fi Al-Tibb, which is attributed to Al-Suyuti, but it is not his (but rather by Muhammad bin Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Mahdawi Al-Sanbari Al-Yamani Al-Hindi, who died in the year 815 AH), and the book Hayat Al-Anim by Al-Dumayri, and the book Mufradat Al-Anam by Al-Suwaidi, who died in the year 690 AH. Brockelmann did not mention this treatise in what he mentioned from Al-Busnawi’s works.
