Notes
A modern copy, corresponding to the original, in which the explanation of the prince appears without the text of Al-Ghayti, which is why there are many linens in it. The text was written in dark brown ink on a thick, white European-made kerchief in which the lines and the distinctive commercial watermark appear, which is a shield and inside of which is a crescent with a human face. In some of the footnotes of the copy, we say from sources similar to the text, such as the footnote of Al-Sayyid Al-Hamawi on Al-Ashbah wa Al-Nadha’ir and from Al-Mishkat Al-Anwar by Al-Mirghani. The copy was slightly damp, but this did not affect the text. The title page bears a title in the name of the copyist himself, dated 1272 AH, and his seal, which reads ((May the satisfaction of the owner Sayyid Ali al-Maliki be sought 1263)))

((... الرؤيا بالألف الغالب استعمالها في المنامية والجمهور على أن هذه يقظية كما سبق وإلا لم تستبعدها قريش وأنشد الشهاب على أن الرؤية يقظية قول الراعي يصف عائداً : - وكبر للرؤيا وهش فؤاده ~ وبشر قلبا كان جما بلابله - فتنة للناس أي للكاذبين منهم فتنوا في دينهم وزاد من صدق كمالاً ، ونسأل الله تعالى من فضله مزيد اللطف والحمد لله رب العالمين))
