Notes	A copy within the collection (9a-11a) is preceded by the copyist’s handwriting, the manuscript of the introduction and tayseer fi rules of crushing and dated Jumada al-Awwal 1019 AH, and it is followed by the manuscript of landmarks of guidance, fractions of numbers, dated Jumada al-Akhir of the same year. Accordingly, this copy falls between Jumada al-Akhir 1019 AH. The copy contains corrections in the copyist’s handwriting indicating that they correspond to the original. The text was written in glossy black tan ink in general, with Some of the words are in red ink and sometimes silvery red, and the text is written on paper with parallel lines and contains commercial watermarks, which are a palm tree inside a circle from which fruits hang in the form of two triangles, one on each side with its base facing up.
