Its Land and Moisture Ibn Mahrez wrote this treatise as a service to Sultan Asad al-Din Shirkuh bin Muhammad al-Ayyubi, who died in the year 636 AH. The paragraph headers are written in red ink. 32,2 x 23,2 cm The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God for His great blessings and thanks for bestowing His blessings, and I bear witness that there is no god but God alone, with no partner, the testimony of a believer in meeting Him. And after that, God Almighty commanded us to pray to Him and urged us to seek His grace and giving. We were obliged to pray in compliance with His commands. Therefore, the author of this book, the weakest of God’s creation, Ubayd Allah Ahmad ibn Mahrez, decided to collect something of that. There is no authentic narration from him from whom it is permissible to narrate from him, according to the scholars of hadith, from the Sahih of Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail..||And this copy was made in the service of our Lord the Sultan.. Abu al-Fath Shirkuh bin Muhammad bin Shirkuh.. The chapters of the book were limited to fifty-three chapters.. The end of the manuscript: Oh God, make the best of my deeds as long as my death approaches.
