Necessity, and Al-Shafi’i, may God have mercy on him, said that it is not permissible to take food, because investigation is necessary evidence, and it is not necessary. Here we said, investigation is done to avoid embarrassment, and the markets of Muslims are not free of stolen, usurped, and forbidden items.
