The first is a truncated version, with comments and footnotes. It represents half of the book because it begins during the interpretation of Surat Al-Kahf until the end of the Qur’an. The rest of the text was written in black ink and the names of the surahs were written in red ink, and the noble verses were highlighted with a red line above them.

روي في شأنهما عن رسول الله عليه السلام : " لقد أنزلت عليّ سورتان ما أنزل مثلهما وإنك لن تقرأ سورتين أحب ولا أرضى عند الله منهما " . قال عثمان بن واقد : سألت من محمد بن المنكدر رضي الله عنه : المعوذتين أهما من كتاب الله تعالى ؟ قال : من لم يزعم أنهما من كتاب الله تعالى فعليه لعنة الله والملائكة والناس أجمعين .
