The beginning of the manuscript: As for what follows: Praise be to God, the Creator of those with enlightened minds.. for the learned Lord... says, “Some of my brothers in religion and my partners in the quest for certainty have asked me to write for the book The Wisdom of the Eye from the works of the learned Lord.. an explanation that makes it easy to use difficult words.. the end of the manuscript: ... that the body is subject to the meeting, as it is not necessary for abstention to achieve one thing without another. His stopping on it is a delayed stopping, for it will be impossible for the cause to be realized without the effect, despite the absence of that stopping on it (so it becomes), that is, that resulting form. This is the first treatise in a group that includes two treatises in philosophy. The last one is amputated, and the copyist interrupted its writing and did not complete it. Underline phrases and words in the text in red, as well as the breaks between some paragraphs at the beginning of the copy. The copy contains footnotes and comments taken from some of what was written about this explanation, which were many at the beginning and few at the end.
