The end of the copy is truncated, and it is interspersed with minor omissions in some places. I wrote the main headings and paragraph headings in red ink. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God who created the heavens and the earth and made darkness and light the turning of hearts and the transformer of conditions throughout the course of hurricanes and ages.. As for what follows, the poor servant says: The science of history, even if it is one of the literary arts, is one of the means of legitimate sciences..
