Notes	Al-Mukhtasar and its original, Al-Ghaniya, are both by Al-Halabi, in Sharh Minyat Al-Musalli by Al-Kashgari, d. 705 AH, an embellished copy heavy with footnotes and comments. The text was written inside a rectangular frame 13, 7 x 6, 6 cm. The text was written in generally shiny black tan ink, while the titles were in red ink on light brown paper with parallel lines and a watermark from which the letters V.G were barely visible. The manuscript contains two seals, the first of which is “From what the poor possessed, the poorest of the poor, Sayyid Khalil Al-Basim, will be forgiven.” The second is the seal of the Ahmed Khairy Library and is dated 1353 AH. The text of the manuscript is preceded by twelve leaves containing benefits in the Turkish language, the last leaf of which contains the index of the book Al-Mukhtasar.
