Notes
Its earth, its moisture, and its wetness. The outer size is 30.2 x 21.5 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, and from the book Laqtat al-Murjan, from the news of the jinn, by Imam al-Suyuti, in mentioning what the jinn seek refuge in regarding remembrances and incantations, according to the Almighty’s saying, “And if a temptation incites you from Satan, seek refuge in God. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.” Within this group is the forty-eighth letter from it. Humidity and wetness affected the paper and ink, and it also suffered smudges from the same ink in which the letter was written. The name of its carrier was not mentioned. End of the manuscript: In the hadith, anger is from Satan, so if one of you becomes angry, let him perform ablution. It is said that Al-Fudayl bin Iyad had a little girl who was complaining of pain in her hand. Al-Fudayl shouted and said, “Oh my lord, a little girl is blaming me for loving someone other than you and your glory and majesty. After you, I have loved no one but you.”
