Notes	A good, complete, modern copy, corresponding to the original and corrected thereto, to which was attached (folio 18b) an authorization in the handwriting of Kamal al-Din Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Ghazi al-Amiri al-Hasani al-Husseini, the Shafi’i mufti of Damascus who died in the year 1214 AH (Dictionary of Authors 8/146, 11/222), in which Sheikh Hassan bin Abdul Aziz al-Ajlouni al-Dimashqi al-Shafi’i and his son Abu Al-Mawahib Muhammad Bahjat al-Din narrated this record. The text was written in dark, tangy black ink, and the copyist used red ink to write the headings of the paragraphs, the warning lines, and some of the names of the authors and their works, and so on, on a European-made, satin-white scribe in which the parallel lines and the commercial watermark appear. The pages of the record are scattered and disassembled, so the copy needs restoration, organization, binding, and maintenance.
