21 x 15.9 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: And God knows best. Chapter on the five conditions of prayer: knowing the time, facing the face, and covering one’s private parts. A man’s private parts are what is between his navel and his knees, and likewise the face in the most correct, and the free woman is nothing but the face, palms, and groin. What prevents one from recognizing the color of the skin, even if it is mud or turbid water. The most correct opinion is that it is obligatory to apply mud to someone who has no clothing. It has traces of moisture and has explanations and comments in the footnotes. End of the manuscript: Whoever sold and did not receive the price until he freed the buyer with a penny has the right to annul the sale and recover the sold item. What is more correct is that his option is immediate and that annulment does not occur through intercourse, emancipation or sale. He has the right to retract in all other exchanges such as selling and he has conditions including that the price be immediate and that it cannot be obtained through bankruptcy. If he refrains from paying the price with his left or runs away then it is not annulable. It is part of a book on jurisprudence, numbered from folios 38 to 48. It has no clear title or author. The first folio is worn out, with some of its words and letters. Its leaves are disassembled. The heads of poverty were written in red ink. |
